For D-STAR–equipped radios, the software also handles essential digital settings, including MY/UR call signs, RPT1/RPT2, and related options. Read from the radio to back up your current configuration, make changes offline, then write the updated file back to the radio. You can copy, paste, sort, and search entries; import or export CSV files for bulk updates or sharing; and print programming lists for reference. Used with an RT Systems USB programming cable, the IC-2820 Programmer provides a reliable, consistent workflow that saves time and reduces errors—ideal for both new and experienced amateur radio operators.
